    Eligibility Criteria

    12th Grade

    To be eligible for admission, first-year students must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 (equivalent to a 'B' grade where 'A' equals 4.00) from their secondary school. They should have completed three years of high school coursework. For students still in high school, ASU requires viewing grades 9 to 11, while those who have graduated need to show grades 10 to 12. A completed high school diploma or certificate is also necessary. Additionally, international students must meet specific competency requirements: four years of math (including algebra I, geometry, algebra II, and one advanced course), and three years of laboratory science (with one year each from biology, chemistry, earth science, integrated sciences, or physics). Applicants must also fulfill coursework requirements which include: 4 years of math, 4 years of English (non-ESL), 3 years of lab sciences, 2 years of social sciences (including 1 year of American history), 2 years of the same second language, and 1 year of fine arts or career and technical education. To qualify, students need to be in the top 25% of their high school graduating class or have a 3.00 GPA in competency courses.
