Students must complete a university-preparatory secondary or high school program. They need a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (B grade). Prerequisites include: 2 years of Social Science (including one year of U.S. history), 4 years of English, 3 years of Mathematics (algebra, geometry, and intermediate algebra; four years recommended), 2 years of Laboratory Science (one biological and one physical science with labs), 2 years of a Foreign Language (same language, can be waived for those showing equivalent knowledge), 1 year of Visual or Performing Arts (art, dance, drama/theatre, or music, either one year-long course or two semester-long courses in the same area), and 1 year of Electives (from approved subjects on the UC/CSU "a-g" list).

Payments are due at the start of each month (September, October, and November for Fall; February, March, and April for Spring).
