They need to pass high school with at least 15 units of college preparatory courses, where each unit is one year of study in a subject. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required, and students must have a grade of C or higher in each course. The required subjects include English, Mathematics (which includes algebra, geometry, and intermediate algebra), History/Social Science, Laboratory Science, a Language other than English, Visual/Performing Arts (like art, dance, drama, or music), and Elective Courses.
