    Graduation

    Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in dance or a related field. They need a minimum of 3 years of experience teaching dance in a high school with a secondary teaching credential, or at least 3 years of part-time or full-time experience teaching dance in a community college. Exceptions may be made for extensive part-time teaching in high schools or for a strong teaching history in other settings. Prerequisite courses include two courses in dance composition, one course in dance history, and one course in anatomy/kinesiology (which must be taken in the last five years).
