Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

Letters of Recommendation (LOR)

Applicants need to submit two letters of recommendation. It is best to have one letter from a math or science teacher, especially for those applying for engineering or science degrees. These letters should talk about the student’s ability to succeed at the university level and give reasons to admit the student.

Essays

Include an essay if it has been completed.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

Official Transcripts

Transcripts must be submitted and should include an English translation if needed. Mid-year and final grades must also be sent as they become available. If available, national exam scores should be included as well.

Certificate of Finance

This document is needed to show the student’s sources of financial support for their expenses during their time at Clarkson, which can be from one to four years.

Personal Statement

Write about a special interest, experience, or achievement that is important to you.

The application fee is USD 50, which is approximately INR 4.21 Thousand. Payments can be made using a credit card. Students can also choose to join Clarkson University’s monthly payment plan. In this plan, the applicant decides how much to finance, with a maximum amount being the total charges minus expected financial aid, and a minimum amount of $1,000 per term. The payment plan requires a nonrefundable application fee of $30.

Step Five: Application Deadline
