Clarkson University Application Process

Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need to submit two letters of recommendation. It is best to have one from a math or science teacher if you want to study engineering or science. These letters should talk about your ability to succeed at university and give reasons why you should be admitted.

Essays: If you have completed an essay, include it with your application.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

Official Transcripts: You must provide official transcripts. If needed, these should include an English translation. You should also send mid-year and final grades as soon as they are available. If you have national exam scores, include those too.

Certificate of Finance: This certificate is needed to show how you will pay for your expenses while studying at Clarkson for one to four years.

Personal Statement: Write about a special interest, experience, or achievement that is important to you.

English Language Proficiency Score: Submit your score to show your English skills.

Copy of Passport: Include a copy of your passport with your application.

Step Four: Application Fees

The application fee is USD 50 (approximately INR 4.21 Thousand).

You can pay by credit card or debit card. Students have the option to join Clarkson University's monthly payment plan. You can choose how much to finance, with a maximum amount being total charges minus any financial aid you expect. The minimum amount to finance is $1,000 per term. The payment plan has a $30 nonrefundable application fee.

For Fall (August) admission, the application deadline is January 15th.
