BS in Supply Chain Management at Florida A&M University

Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Supply Chain Management through its School of Business and Industry. This program lasts for four years and is designed to provide students with the skills needed in the supply chain field. The tuition fee for this program is USD 17,725. To be admitted to the BS in Supply Chain Management, students need to show their English language skills. FAMU accepts IELTS and TOEFL as proof of English proficiency.

12th Grade

To apply, students must have completed high school and received a certificate. A first-time college applicant needs a diploma from an accredited high school and must meet specific academic requirements. For spring admission, a minimum GPA of 2.85 is required, and for fall admission, a GPA of 3.0 is needed. The GPA is calculated on a 4.00 scale. Students must also complete the following high school course units: four units of English (with at least three involving writing), four units of Mathematics (Algebra 1 or higher), three units of Natural Science (at least two with a lab), three units of Social Science, two units of the same Foreign Language, and two elective units from English, Mathematics, Natural Science, Foreign Language, Humanities, or Social Science.

Step One: Prepare Your Documents

Letters of Recommendation (LOR)

You need to provide two letters of recommendation from a teacher and/or counselor as part of your application.

Essays

You must write a 500-word essay that is part of your application. For the Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management (BS in HIIM), you need to include a typed autobiographical essay of 300-500 words. This essay should answer the following questions:

• Why do you want to enter the HIIM profession?
• What life or work experiences have led you to pursue a degree in HIIM?
• What are your career goals, and how will a bachelor’s degree in HIIM help you achieve those goals?

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

You are required to submit a professional resume for the Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) program.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

Complete the undergraduate application. You need to submit:

• An official or certified copy of all secondary and post-secondary records and/or examination results. If you have credentials from non-U.S. institutions, these must be evaluated by a foreign credential evaluation agency.
• All AICE, AP, IB, or CLEP results if you earned college credit through these programs.
• Official English Proficiency test scores (TOEFL and/or IELTS) if English is not your native language.
• Official GED transcript, if applicable.
• Official ACT [code: 0726] and/or Redesigned SAT [code: 5215] results if you are a freshman or sophomore transfer student.
• A copy of your passport.
• The completed International Student Financial Statement.
• For BArch, include a professional statement and a satisfactory portfolio review score.

Step Four: Application Fees

The application fee is USD 35, which is approximately INR 2.95 thousand. You can pay this fee using a credit card. A formal payment plan is available through iRattler. This allows students to make payments in equal installments, either automatically or manually using the Cashnet payment system. Friends and family can also contribute to your payments through this method. Note that this plan requires a $15.00 enrollment fee, and the first payment is due upon enrollment in the plan.

Step Five: Application Deadlines

The application deadlines are as follows:

• Fall (August): May 1
• Spring (January): November 1
• Summer (May): March 1
