    Eligibility Criteria

    12th Grade

    Students must have completed high school with a minimum score of 50%. They need to have completed specific courses: 4 years of their native language, 3 years of math (including algebra, geometry, and advanced algebra), 3 years of science (with 2 years in biology, chemistry, or physics), and 2 years of social studies (3 years for students applying to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences). Students applying for majors in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Engineering must also have 2 years of a foreign language, which can be English if it is not their first language. They need a minimum GPA equivalent to a B or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, which is 50% on the General Scale, 6 on a scale of 1-9 for the India School Certificate, B2 on a scale of A1 to E2 for CBSE/CCE, and 61 out of 100 or D on a scale of A-I for the National Institute for Open Schooling SSSE. Admissions decisions may be based on transcripts from the last three years of high school and other required documents. Students must have the Higher Secondary Certificate or its equivalent and submit complete final official transcripts along with Board Exam results for X and XII before enrolling at ISU.
