The Master of Science in Computer Science program gives students a chance to build a strong foundation in computer science while learning the skills needed for today's technology jobs.
The M.S. in Computer Science has two options: Information Engineering and Cybersecurity.
Students with a bachelor's degree in computer science need to complete 30 credits, while those without a bachelor's degree in computer science need 39 credits to earn their degree.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree. Students will be admitted based on one of two plans: Plan A is for those with a Computer Science degree, allowing them to skip Foundation courses and start Core courses right away (30 hours total). Plan B is for those with a non-Computer Science degree, who must complete Foundation courses (9 hours) before taking Core courses (39 hours total). The Foundation courses include COS 502 (Introduction to Programming), COS 504 (Discrete Mathematics), and COS 505 (OS Design).

Students have the option to pay in installments to meet the payment deadline. The Payment Installment Option (PIO) will cover all unpaid tuition, fees, dining dollars, and housing charges.
Before enrolling in the PIO, students must read and accept the terms on CASHNet. There is a non-refundable enrollment fee of $35 due when signing up for the PIO through Wired/CASHNet, regardless of when financial aid or other payments are applied to your account.
