The School Counseling Program aims to help students gain important skills and knowledge needed to work effectively as school counselors.
Graduates of this program will be well-prepared to apply for licenses as school counselors, obtain National Counseling Certification, and get licensed as professional counselors (LPC).
The program seeks to attract students from various backgrounds who show good character, maturity, academic performance, leadership skills, community involvement, and a strong interest in the counseling field.
Students in the School Counseling Program will learn about different counseling theories, models, and techniques. They will receive special training to work with students, parents, teachers, and school administrators. Students must also complete supervised clinical training at approved locations.
The Master of Education in School Counseling is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

Payment Plan:
If you choose a 4-month payment plan, your first payment is due at enrollment. The remaining payments are due each month based on your enrollment date. For example, if you enroll on July 30, the next payments will be due on August 30, September 30, and October 30.
A non-refundable enrollment fee of $70 is required each semester. This plan is interest-free. Be aware of possible additional fees:
- $26 late enrollment fee if you enroll within 10 days after the enrollment period. Enrollment after 10 days is not allowed.
- $40 late payment fee.
