The mechanical engineering program is part of the department of mechanical and aerospace engineering.
As a mechanical engineer, students will focus on changing energy from one form to another. They will also work on designing, building, and operating different types of machines. Additionally, they will select and design tools and systems to control various physical and environmental systems.
