To apply, students must have completed high school and achieved a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. It is recommended that students take the following courses: four units of English (excluding speech or journalism), two units of algebra and one unit of geometry, trigonometry, math analysis, or calculus for Mathematics, one unit each of world history, state history and civics, and United States history for Social Studies, two units of a foreign language, and two to three units of science with at least one being a lab science.
