Applicants need an undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or higher. They should have a degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, software engineering, or related areas. Students from different fields can apply but must complete two prerequisite courses: one in operating systems and one in computer networking. These courses can be taken at Robert Morris University (RMU) or another institution. The required courses are INFS 3210 Operating Systems or a similar course, and INFS 3230 Computer Networking or a similar course.
