Students must have completed high school with good grades and hold any of the following certificates: Higher Secondary School Certificate, Higher Secondary Certificate, Indian School Certificate, Intermediate Examination Certificate, All India or Delhi Senior School Certificate, Pre-university Certificate, or Pre-Degree Certificate. They should have completed four years of high school mathematics, one year of high school chemistry, and one year of high school physics. It is also recommended to take courses in mechanical drawing and computer programming. Required subjects include: History & Social Science (with one year of U.S. history and one semester of civics or American government), English, Mathematics (algebra, geometry, or higher), Laboratory Science (one physical and one biological), a language other than English (same language, possible waiver), Visual & Performing Arts, and a college preparatory elective from the school’s A-G course list. A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or a B- average in academic courses after 9th grade is required.
