Architects give character to buildings, shaping the purpose and feel of whole communities with their beautiful designs.

As architecture students at SCAD, they will learn about the environmental, social, and sustainability issues that impact how buildings are planned.

Students will look at historical, cultural, topographical, theoretical, and aesthetic factors to design skyscrapers, museums, mixed-use spaces, and more in real-world locations.

They will gain the technical skills and build a portfolio needed to create buildings that bring beauty and life to the world.

Students will take courses like Advanced Parametric Design, Generative Modeling, Digital Prototyping, Fabrication Methods for Building Design, Simulation, Animation, Visualization in the Building Arts, Structures: Lateral Forces, and Advanced Digital Applications for Practice and Project Management.
