The School of Visual Arts educates and inspires students through a community of working professionals, including interior designers and related fields. This environment helps promote cultural and social change by encouraging exploration, creativity, and the use of new ideas that challenge the norm and improve our living spaces.
Students will learn the specific language used by leading design firms today. Most importantly, you will discover how to turn creative design ideas into real spaces that positively influence people's behavior and promote healthy environments.
As of July 2023, 7 out of 11 graduates are fully employed in design professions, which is 64%. Additionally, 4 graduates, or 36%, are pursuing further studies in graduate school.
The students have received many prestigious awards, including 13 scholarships from the Angelo Donghia Foundation, valued at $30,000 each, over 18 years of competition. They have also won awards from Hospitality Design Magazine, including 1st, 2nd place, and finalist positions.
Moreover, students have achieved international recognition, winning awards from the IFI Design Distinction Awards and Buildner's International Architecture Competition for Modular Home in 2022.
