The Cyber Investigation Technology degree prepares students for jobs in computer network protection, managing networks and operating systems, and IT criminal investigation. This includes learning about evidence procedures and computer forensics.
This degree also helps students prepare for industry-recognized certifications. It offers credit for Law Enforcement and Corrections programs and provides opportunities for students to transfer to four-year degree programs. Additionally, this program includes one or more certificates that students will receive automatically when they complete the requirements.
Program Outcomes:
Students will learn how to collect evidence following standard criminal justice procedures. This helps to make prosecutions stronger and reduces challenges from legal defenses.
Students will develop professional communication skills, both spoken and written. They will work in teams to create and carry out project plans that solve cyber security issues in business and criminal justice settings.
