The required subjects include: 4 units of English, 1 unit of Visual and/or Performing Arts, 2 units of Algebra (Algebra I and II), 1 unit of Geometry or an advanced math course with a major geometry component, 1 additional unit of math, 3 units of Natural/Physical Sciences (including at least one lab unit in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Principles of Technology II), 1 unit of Social Studies, 1 unit of United States History, and 2 units of a single Foreign Language.

Application Process for Tennessee State University

Step 1: Additional Documents Required

• Official transcripts and authorized school records that list courses and grades received.
• Official TOEFL or IELTS scores.
• Notarized Affidavit of Support and financial statement.
• These documents must be no older than six (6) months before the semester you want to enroll in.
• Proof of required immunizations.
• Copy of your passport.
• ACT/SAT test scores if you are under the age of 21.

Step 3: Application Fees

• The application fee is USD 25, which is approximately INR 2.11 Thousand.
• Students can pay their fees using an Installment Payment Plan.
• The down payment, a $50 Administrative Fee, and any previous term balances must be paid in full at the time of enrollment.
• After the down payment, the remaining balance can be paid in three monthly installments each term.
• Please note that a payment plan is not available for summer term balances.
