To be eligible, students must have completed high school with a cumulative weighted GPA of 2.50 or higher. The following subjects are required: 4 units of English, 1 unit of Visual and/or Performing Arts, 2 units of Algebra I and II, 1 unit of Geometry or an advanced math course that includes geometry, 1 additional unit of math, 3 units of Natural/Physical Sciences (including at least one lab unit in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics), 1 unit of Social Studies (covering world history, geography, etc.), 1 unit of United States History, and 2 units of a Foreign Language.

Application Process for Tennessee State University

Step One: Gather Additional Documents

• Official transcripts and school records showing courses and grades
• Official TOEFL or IELTS test scores
• Notarized Affidavit of support and financial statement
• Documents must be less than six (6) months old from the start of the semester you wish to enroll
• Proof of required immunizations

Step Three: Pay Application Fees

• Application fee: USD 25 (approximately INR 2.11 Thousand)
• You can pay through the Installment Payment Plan.
• A down payment is required, along with a $50 Administrative Fee and any previous balances at enrollment.
• After the down payment, you can pay the remaining balance in three monthly installments each term.
• Note: The payment plan option is not available for summer term balances.
