Application Process for Tennessee State University

Step 1: Prepare Documents for Application

Along with your application, you will need to submit:

• Official transcripts or authorized school records showing your courses and grades
• Proof of English language proficiency
• Copy of your current, valid passport
• Evidence of financial resources to cover tuition and fees for the academic year (minimum of $28,500 USD) and an affidavit of support
• Certificate from a licensed physician or qualified medical authority confirming freedom from tuberculosis within thirty (30) days before classes start
• Certificate of Immunization showing: Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) - 2 doses Varicella/Chicken Pox - 2 doses

Payment can be made using a credit card. Students have the option to pay through an Installment Payment Plan.

The down payment, a $50 Administrative Fee, and any past balances must be paid in full at the time of enrollment. After the down payment, the remaining balance can be paid in three monthly installments each term. Note that a payment plan is not available for summer term balances.
