The Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering (BSAE) at the University of Alabama in Huntsville prepares students for exciting careers in a fast-changing field. This field includes four main areas: aerodynamics, structures and materials, propulsion, and flight mechanics and control.

These electives can include foreign languages, computer programming, and higher-level science and math courses. If students lack some required courses, they may still be admitted, but they must fix these gaps in their first year with courses approved by the department. Note that courses taken to fix gaps cannot count towards degree requirements.
