Detroit Mercy's undergraduate cybersecurity program has changed to meet the needs of the growing cybersecurity job market.
The program follows the guidelines from the Joint Task Force on Cybersecurity Education (CSEC2017), covering eight key areas that connect different fields like Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, and Software Engineering.
Students must complete at least 120 credit hours to finish the program.

Applicants must have completed high school. It is recommended that students have four units of college preparatory English, three units of mathematics, two units of history or social studies, and two units of natural science that include a lab course. Additional studies in speech, foreign language, music, art, or other college prep subjects are also suggested.
