Students must have completed 12th grade with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, which is equivalent to a 'B' average. The following courses are required: 4 units of English (grammar, composition, literature), 3 units of college prep math (algebra I, algebra II, geometry, trigonometry, math analysis, calculus, or AP Statistics), 3 units of laboratory science (not including general science), 3 units of history (including American history), and 2 additional units from the above subjects or computer science or a foreign language.
