Step One: Prepare Your Documents

Statement of Purpose (SOP)

You need to write a Statement of Purpose. This should be about 250 words long and explain your goals, expectations, and reasons for wanting to join the program.

Letters of Recommendation (LOR)

Submit three letters of recommendation. These letters should assess your potential to succeed as a graduate student. They must be sent directly to the School of Computer Science. The letters should be original and on official letterhead. You can also send a request to your recommenders via the college application. It is best if two of the three letters come from your professors.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

A resume is required as part of your application.
