What are the benefits of the India Undergraduate Scholarship?

Every year, the university chooses two applicants from among all applications received and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. At Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, the maximum scholarship a student can receive is INR 4,54,000. The fee must be paid in full; the scholarship amount will be distributed to students once they begin their studies.

What is the eligibility criteria for the India Undergraduate Scholarship? 

To be eligible for the India Undergraduate scholarship, applicants need to pass the eligibility criteria for the same which is mentioned below:

  • list items Applicants with non-EU status who have received a conditional or unconditional offer for an undergraduate programme will pay tuition fees at the non-EU rate.
  • list items Applicants must be Indian citizens who have completed their high school education.
  • list items Applicants must have attained/predicted attaining a minimum (in one of the following areas):
  • list items 36 on the International Baccalaureate
  • list items AAB or a similar level in India 
  • list items A 90% in Grade XII overall
  • list items Scholarships are merit-based, and applications will be evaluated based on academic achievement as well as the applicant's potential to become an outstanding ambassador and positively contribute to the Trinity community as a whole.
  • list items Applicants must demonstrate their ability to carry out future University ambassadorial duties.

    What is the application process for the India Undergraduate Scholarship?

    To apply for the India Undergraduate Scholarship, you need to follow the following application process:

  • list items Subject: Your name + Trinity application number + India Documents Required for Undergraduate Scholarship Applications:
  • list items Trinity 300-word statement on "How I will contribute to Trinity College Dublin's community"
  • list items Trinity offer letter

  • list items If your scholarship application is successful, your Regional Manager will notify you and advise you on how to formally accept the scholarship.
  • list items The scholarship offer will be open for two weeks. Within this time frame, you must pay the course acceptance deposit. If the offer is not accepted within this time frame, the scholarship will be given to another candidate.
