This grant is available to international students who have met the entry requirements for the University of Melbourne's UG programme.
The Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit. The scholarship gives one of the following:
Tuition fee waiver of USD 10,000 in the first year of undergraduate studies.
A charge reduction of 50% for the full three-year term of the UG study
A fee reduction of 100% for the entire three-year duration of the programme.
The amount of remission to be provided to students is determined by their ranking, which is determined by their final high school exam grade.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
Be a non-permanent resident of Australia and a citizen of a nation other than Australia and New Zealand;
Having finished secondary school outside of Australia or a foundation programme in Australia and have received an unconditional offer to study at the University of Melbourne;
Having a secondary school grade point average in the top 3%, such as:
GCE A-levels: at least three A* grades with numerical grades and an overall average of 97% in the best three subjects
Most Australian Foundation Studies got an overall score of at least 98%.
International Baccalaureate (IB): at least 43 points (must be completed at a secondary school outside of Australia).
US High School: a GPA of at least 3.9 combined with a SAT score of at least 1500 or an ACT score of at least 31.
Canada Secondary School: a minimum total score of 97%
India Secondary School (CBSE, ISCE, or State Board Exam); at least 98% overall
Vietnam High School: an overall Year 12 GPA of 9.7 or above
Not having completed any previous tertiary studies (except extended studies performed as part of a year 12 programme)
The Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship does not require an external application.
The admission application submitted to the university will be used to evaluate candidates.
Candidates with the highest selection score based on prior academic results are eligible for this award, which comes with a variety of privileges. Selection scores may differ from year to year and are determined at the time of selection.

Scholarships are rarely extended beyond the maximum length specified in your scholarship offer. If you are granted a leave of absence, your scholarship will be extended by one or more semesters.
Scholarships are available to all graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Melbourne. The university meets all admitted students' financial needs since they believe that each individual student has the passion to change the possibility.
The admittance rate at the University of Melbourne is roughly 70%.
