The Monash International Leadership Scholarship is a merit-based award for international students at Monash University. It is open for undergraduate and postgraduate students in all courses except Bachelor of Medical Science, Doctor of Medicine, and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Four Monash Leadership scholarships are offered each year, and recipients must keep excellent academic scores to renew their scholarships yearly.

- All course fees will be covered until the minimum required credit points for your degree are completed (excluding OSHC, accommodation, and living costs).
- First-year undergraduate students will have the opportunity to apply for a spot in Monash Minds, a leadership program designed specifically for new students.
- Scholarship recipients may be requested to participate in or be featured in Monash's marketing, recruitment, and promotional materials and/or events.
Eligibility criteria
- Be an international student, not an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- Have received a full Monash course offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) program at Monash University.
- Demonstrate excellent academic achievement in previous studies.
- Exhibit leadership skills and potential, as evidenced by involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, or leadership roles.
- Meet the specific eligibility requirements for the chosen course of study, including English language proficiency and any additional prerequisites.
- Comply with all visa requirements and be able to obtain a student visa to study in Australia.
- Be willing to actively participate in Monash University events and initiatives as an ambassador for the program.
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout the duration of the scholarship.

The selection process for the scholarship is based on the following criteria:
- Academic merit of the candidates
- Scholarship application statement of 500 words
- The willingness of the student to be Monash’s ambassador
- Selected candidates must keep a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 each semester to retain the scholarship
- Beneficiaries must participate in at least 3 marketing and/or scholarship promotional activities.
