What is the eligibility criteria for the OTS scholarship?

  • Be a citizen of India
  • Not have a degree from a Dutch education institution
  • Currently in the admission process or got admission in any of the participating universities
  • Not working or studying in the Netherlands at the time of application

What is the application process for the OTS scholarship?

  • Apply and get confirmation from the chosen Dutch University
  • Go to the official website and download the OTS application form.
  • Fill out the OTS application form which asks for details like
    • Personal information
    • Details on the study program in the Netherlands
    • Academic background
    • Work experience information
    • Details on how you are financing your studies
    • Declaration
  • Attach copies of required documents. The documents you need are an admission letter (if you have one), language test results, and/or recommendation letters. Documents required are subjective for each participating university.
  • The candidates must email the duly filled application form to [email protected]. Submit the form in Word or PDF format (file size should be below 20 MB).
    • The subject of the email should be OTS 2021-2022 Application [scheme] - [your name]. Example: OTS 2023-2024 Application - University of Amsterdam- Anam Shams.
    • The filename of each document should have a clear name in English: [document name] - [applicant’s name]. Example: TOEFL Score Sheet - Anam Shams.

How to get selected for the OTS scholarship?

  • Once the application is received, NESO India will analyze it and forward it to the respective university.
  • The selection is on a merit basis.
  • All applicants will get an update on their application typically by mid of May.
  • The status of the application will be accepted, on the waiting list, or rejected. Accepted applicants must confirm the scholarship. Those on the waiting list will get the scholarship if there are unconfirmed applications.
