To be eligible for the Syracuse University Dean’s Scholarship, applicants need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Applicants must have completed their 12th grade.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Prerequisites: Math and Laboratory Science
IELTS: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science- 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing and 6.5 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking
Bachelors in Accounting: 7.0, with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing and 6.5 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking.
TOEFL: A score of 80 is preferred for a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, with a minimum of 21 in Writing and 20 in Speaking, Reading, and Listening.
The ideal score for a Bachelor of Accounting is 90, with a minimum of 21 in Writing and 20 in Speaking, Reading, and Listening.
To keep your merit-based scholarship, applicants must:
Maintain a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75.
Maintain Academic Integrity and Satisfactory Academic Progress Expectations are that it will take three semesters to fulfill the GPA criteria.
After three semesters, if your GPA falls below 2.75, your scholarship will not be renewed.
