Griffith charges tuition by trimester, calculated per credit point based on your enrollment at the census date (the Monday after the end of teaching Week 4), which is also the fee payment due date. To accept your offer you pay a deposit, usually your first trimester's tuition plus visa-length OSHC through Convera GlobalPay, which secures your CoE. Fees for later trimesters are due by each census date. Fees are reviewed annually, so later years may cost slightly more than the first.
Griffith offers eligible international students a 20% tuition reduction for the whole program, plus merit scholarships that lower the fee further. Combined across the degree, this meaningfully reduces total cost for most students.
| Scholarship | Reduction | You Pay (approx.) |
|---|---|---|
|
Griffith International Student Discount (eligible students) |
20% of tuition for the program |
Headline fee minus 20% |
|
International Student Academic Merit Scholarship |
10% – 25% of tuition |
Headline fee reduced by 10% – 25% |
|
Vice Chancellor's International Scholarship |
Up to 25% of tuition |
Headline fee reduced by up to 25% |
|
Remarkable / high-merit scholarships |

Most awards are assessed on academic results at the time of offer; higher results unlock larger reductions, and some awards can combine with the standard international discount.
