Aston University Application Process

Step 1: Prepare Your Application Documents

Before you apply, gather the necessary documents. You will need:

• Letter of Recommendation (LOR): You must provide a reference letter. This letter should come from someone who knows you well academically and can discuss your work ethic, how you interact with other students, and your fit for higher education or your future career.
• If you are currently in school or college, ask your tutor, teacher, principal, or head teacher for a recommendation.
• If you have been out of education for some time, consider asking an employer, volunteering supervisor, or trainer to write your reference.
• For MSc Data Analytics (including Professional Practice), you will need two professional references, with at least one being from an academic referee.

• Your academic transcripts
• Your CV or resume
• Personal statement outlining your goals and interests
• Proof of English language proficiency (if applicable)

Aston University offers a payment plan option for students to pay their fees in installments. During your enrollment, you will automatically be set up for installment payments. The only way to pay your tuition fees in installments is through online card payment.

The due dates for the payments are:

• 50% of tuition fee by 31 October 2021
• 25% of tuition fee by 10 January 2022
• 25% of tuition fee by 25 April 2022
