Nottingham Trent University International Students Criteria

To do postgraduate degree courses, one will need a recognized bachelors degree in a field related to the course with competitive academic status (equivalent to UK honours degree). Other courses might also require applicable work experience, interviews or course-specific requirements based on the major.
English Language Requirements:

IELTS 6.0 overall (with no band below 5.5) for most undergraduate programs.

IELTS 6.5 overall (with no band below 5.5) for many postgraduate programs.

Certain professional courses like Nursing, Social Work, or Journalism may require higher scores (e.g., IELTS 7.0).

NTU also accepts equivalent tests like TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, and Duolingo as per approved score equivalencies.
If a student does not meet the direct English-language score requirements, they may be qualified for pre-sessional English (PEAP) programs.

Nottingham Trent University Scholarship
NTU International Scholarships:

Offers £2,000 up to a tuition-fee reduction of 50%.

Must have an offer of a place on an eligible full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at NTU.

Must be classed as an overseas student for tuition-fee purposes.

Must be enrolling in the first year of a new course of study (or Year 2/3 for advanced entry undergraduates) in the relevant intake.
NTU Excellence Scholarships:

Provides a tuition waiver covering 25% or 50% of first-year fees.

Must be a new international student with an offer on an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate taught course.

Must be classed as an overseas student for tuition-fee purposes.
