Animal Biology BSc (Hons) at Nottingham Trent University

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) offers a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Animal Biology through its School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences. This degree program lasts for three years and focuses mainly on science. For international students, the tuition fee is £15,600 per year. Additionally, students must provide proof of English language proficiency, which can be demonstrated by taking the IELTS exam.

12th Grade

Students need a minimum of 65% in their Higher Secondary Certificate (XIIth) from four relevant subjects, excluding the native language. Other qualifications accepted include A-levels with grades BBC, including a grade C in Biology and excluding General Studies, or a BTEC Extended Diploma with DMM, including relevant Biology modules. Students should also have 112 UCAS Tariff points from three A-levels or equivalent qualifications, and GCSEs in English, maths, and science with a minimum grade of C/4. Work experience in the animal sector is strongly recommended, such as at pet shops, zoos, animal conservation projects, wildlife sanctuaries, stables, veterinary practices, kennels, the RSPCA, and similar places.
