BA (Hons)Special Education at University of East London

The School of Education and Communities at the University of East London (UEL) offers a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Special Education. This degree program lasts for three years and focuses mainly on Humanities and Social Sciences. For international students, the tuition fees are £13,740 per year. To enroll in this degree course, students must provide proof of their English language skills by taking the IELTS exam.

12th Grade

Students must have completed their education from a recognized institution. They need to have one of the following qualifications: Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), Standard 12, All India Senior School Certificate, Indian School Certificate, or Intermediate Pass Certificate with an overall average of 60%. For specific boards, the requirements are: All India Senior School Certificate (including English Core, English Comm, or Functional English) must be 60% or above. National Education Boards (CBSE/CICSE) also need 60% or above. State Boards (Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Seven Sisters of India) require 60% or above, while the Kerala State Board requires 65% or above. A BTECH degree is required, and important subjects are English and Maths.
