UEL charges tuition by academic year, with a deposit (£4,000–£5,000) required before it can run pre-CAS checks and issue your CAS. The balance is usually paid before or at enrolment, and payment plans are available for international students. A 5% early-payment discount applies if you pay your tuition in full before mid-September (or the date in your offer letter for January starts). Fees are reviewed annually, so later years may cost slightly more than the first.
UEL automatically assesses most international applicants for a scholarship or discount, included in the offer letter. Combined with early-payment and progression discounts, this meaningfully reduces cost for many students.
| Scholarship / Discount | Reduction | You Pay (approx.) |
|---|---|---|
|
UEL International Scholarship |
£500 – £5,000 off first-year tuition |
Headline fee minus the awarded amount |

5% off tuition (paid in full before the deadline) |
