University of Greenwich International Students Criteria

Undergraduate: Successful completion of Class 12 / senior secondary course with good grades from a recognised board.

Postgraduate: A recognised bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, typically equivalent to a UK 2:2 or above. Course-specific requirements may apply for certain programs.

English Language Requirements:

UG Programs: IELTS 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in each band)

PG Programs: IELTS 6.5 overall (minimum 5.5 in each band)

Some professional programs (e.g., Nursing, Social Work) may require higher scores such as IELTS 7.0.

University also accommodates other similar tests as TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, etc.

Those applicants, who fail to satisfy the direct English requirements, can enroll in pre-sessional English courses.

University of Greenwich Scholarships
International Scholarship Award:

Up to £2,500 (first year) for January 2026 intake

Have an offer for a full-time undergraduate or taught-postgraduate course for January 2026.

Not already in receipt of another UoG scholarship or award.

Must pay the international fee rate.
International Hardship Fund:

Up to £1,000 per academic year

You must be an international fee-paying student (or EU student without a maintenance loan).

Fully registered student with all holds lifted and up-to-date tuition fee account.
