Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) is an undergraduate college located in Lewiston, Idaho. It was founded in 1893 and started as a normal state school. In 1947, it became a college, and in 1965, the State Board of Education allowed it to offer a four-year program in education and liberal arts. The college was officially named Lewis-Clark State College in 1971 and received regional accreditation to award four-year degrees in 1973.

The college has more than 3,500 students from 30 states and various countries. LCSC offers over 130 degree programs, including popular fields like social work, criminal justice, education, and nursing. Other programs include liberal arts, business, and technical education, leading to both bachelor’s and associate degrees.

Students can join over 60 clubs and organizations at LCSC, including student government, campus media, and cultural groups. The college also has athletic teams called the Warriors, competing in various sports like basketball, baseball, and volleyball.

LCSC takes pride in its alumni, many of whom work in important positions around the country. Notable graduates include Marvin Benard, a former MLB player, and Aprilynne Pike, a bestselling author. The college helps students prepare for successful careers in many fields.
