Master of Science in Physics at MARSHALL UNIVERSITY

Marshall University offers a Master of Science in Physics through its School of Physical Sciences. This is a two-year program designed for students who want to deepen their knowledge in physics. • Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need to send 3 letters of recommendation. These should be mailed or emailed to the department chair, Dr. Huong Nguyen at nguyenh@marshall.edu.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

Along with your LORs, you must also provide:

• Official Transcripts and Evaluations: Submit your academic records.
• Evidence of English Language Proficiency: Provide your TOEFL or IELTS scores.
• Affidavit of Financial Support: You must show proof of financial support to cover tuition and living expenses for one academic year (9 months).

Marshall University offers the OASIS Plan for tuition and housing costs. This plan allows for three equal payments of your outstanding tuition and/or housing charges, after all financial aid has been applied. The enrollment fee is 1% of your final two payments.
