Overview

Mount Aloysius College is a private Catholic college located in Cresson, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1853, it was initially known as Mount Aloysius Junior College in 1939 and became Mount Aloysius College in 1991, allowing it to offer bachelor's degrees. The college is nestled in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains of central Pennsylvania.

Faculty members are selected for their teaching excellence, providing a rigorous curriculum. A dedicated committee supports student research and organizes a Research Symposium each year to showcase undergraduate and graduate student work.

Service-Learning is an educational approach at Mount Aloysius College that combines classroom learning with community service. This method allows students to engage with the community while reflecting on their experiences. The Office of Career Development assists students in planning their careers from the moment they enroll until after graduation. Services include career assessments, help with professional documents, and access to job postings and campus career events.
