Curtin University Intakes and Deadlines

Unlike universities that run a single annual entry, Curtin spreads its year across a February and a July semester, and runs its MBA on a separate three-trimester cycle. February is when most courses and the largest cohort begin. Because places close as soon as a course fills rather than on one fixed national date, an early application is your real advantage here and Year 12 and Medicine applicants take a different route altogether, applying through TISC rather than direct.

Curtin University Fees for International Students

Curtin tuition for international students is course-based and charged per year. The 2026 figures below are approximate annual estimates for tuition only. INR values are approximate (around ₹55 per AUD 1).

Curtin University International Students Criteria

• 
  Undergraduate academic requirement: A recognised Year 12-equivalent qualification; Indian applicants typically need around 60–75% (about 60%+ for CBSE/ISC), with an indicative ATAR equivalent of around 70. Some courses require prerequisite subjects (e.g. Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics).

  Postgraduate requirement: A recognised bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; the MBA accepts a bachelor's in any discipline (or a graduate certificate/diploma at 65%) plus around three years of relevant work experience.
• 
  English proficiency: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0), or TOEFL iBT 79, or PTE Academic 58. Some programs require higher scores; an English waiver may apply for strong English results from Indian boards.

  Pathways: Applicants who fall short can enter through Curtin College (diplomas, Masters Qualifying Program) or the Curtin English Language Centre.

  Supporting documents: Certified academic transcripts, proof of English proficiency, passport, and program-specific items such as a portfolio, CV or research proposal (for research degrees).
